Computers are very useful in your everyday life. In this essay, I am going to explain why computers are so useful in your everyday life. I know that computers are important because I started to learn how to use a computer when I was four. I kept learning and learning from my friends and relatives. They taught me everything that you need to know to be an expert on computers. Nothing in this essay is a lie!
Computers can help you organize your things. If you are having trouble keeping an important sheet, then type it on your computer and it will save it on your hard drive. If you like typing then you should get a computer that has a lot of space on the hard drive. For example, a good amount of space that you should have on your hard drive is about 50 gigs. If you are a person that likes games, like me, you should get a computer with about 60 to 70 gigs.
Internet Access is also very important. If it weren't for your computer, then you would not be able to use the Internet. Also, in order to have Internet Access you have to have a modem in your computer, and a phone line. Modems usually come with your computer, so you should not worry about getting them if you do not have Internet Access.
Most computers have a very useful program meant for looking up words. If you have a Windows computer, then your computer will come with a program called Microsoft Dictionary 2001. If you do not have a Dictionary program on your computer, do not worry. All you have to do is go to your local Computer and Accessories store and I am sure you will find a Dictionary program there. Dictionary Programs are very useful, they can save you a lot of time, and also they only cost about $20.00 at a Computer Store!
So, the next time you need help on organizing your things, or you are having trouble looking up a word in the Dictionary, or if you need to find information on something, then go and use your computer.
